This year, your Christmas mini session is more than just a photoshoot. Come along for a little festive day out in the desert, where you can enjoy some family time, roast s’mores, sip on hot cocoa and make some lovely Christmas memories together.

The photos are just part of the experience, capturing all those little moments you’ll want to remember long after the Christmas tree comes down.

In this short and sweet session you don't have to worry about your children getting bored, there will be plenty of things to do before and after your session to keep them happy and engaged.

Please plan to arrive at least half an hour before your scheduled session to settle in and in case of any delays on the road.

New dates and time slots will be added based on demand, so please feel free to contact me about a time that better suits you and I'll see what I can do.

The Christmas in the Desert sessions will take place in Al Khatim Desert, Abu Dhabi.

The exact meeting point will be confirmed closer to the session date. As the desert is currently too hot for location scouting, I expect to be able to confirm the exact location and provide a Google Maps pin around mid-October.

Once the location has been confirmed, the Google Maps link and any relevant directions or meeting instructions will be sent to you.

Please expect about a 50 minute drive.

I’ve chosen the desert as the setting for this year’s Christmas mini sessions, with a Christmas tree nestled among the dunes and soft, neutral-coloured decorations to create a warm and timeless festive atmosphere.

The neutral styling will keep the focus on you and your family, while still bringing a little Christmas magic to the desert.
If you’d like to make your photos even more personal, please feel free to bring along a few of your own favorite tree decorations to add to the tree during your session.

Your pets are part of your family, so if you want to include them in your Christmas photos, please feel bring them along.

Please let me know in advance if you'd like to do this, so I can make sure there will be no issue with the other clients.

Please feel free to change after your session into something more comfortable.

P.S. we will be barefoot, so you don't have to worry about footwear.

Some things can make your life a little bit easier, so these are my recommendations on what to bring:

-A change of clothes in case of accidents, and pajamas for the children for the way home.
-Diapers and wet-wipes.
-Snacks and drinks.
-Hats and sunscreen.
-Camping chairs for the adults.

Carpets and toys will be provided for the children, as well as water and some snacks (Please let me know in advance about any allergies).
Expect a little sand, a little mess and lots of Christmas fun!

No SUV needed! 🚙✨

You don’t need a 4x4 or SUV to join us. You’ll be able to park safely on firm, hard ground and take a short walk to the camp and Christmas setup.

But you might need to take your car to a car wash after to have it de-sanded ha ha.. 😆
